May 5 – Gwynn presents The Art of Pacing at the Ontario Writers’ Conference Location: Deer Creek Golf Club, Ajax.
May 9 to June 13 – Write On! Intensive A 6-week advanced creative writing class with Gwynn Scheltema and Ruth E. Walker in Oshawa. Location: Trent University, Oshawa Campus, 6 to 8:30 pm.
May 14 – Punctuation, Please! with Frances Peck
August 25 – Woods, Water and Words A one-day getaway on Lake Seymour with Gwynn Scheltema. Location: Havelock/Campbellford area.
September 12 to October 10 – From Query to Byline: Get Published and Paid In this 5-week introductory non-fiction course, Gwynn Scheltema and Heather O’Connor will share the tricks of the trade that have helped them make a living as freelance writers. You’ll learn how to write for magazines and the web, corporate clients and other media. Location: Trent University, Oshawa Campus, 6 to 8:30 pm.
October 20 – Glentula Fall Getaway A one-day getaway on Lake Seymour with Gwynn Scheltema. Location: Havelock/Campbellford area.
November 23 to 25 – Turning Leaves 2012 Three days of workshops, discussions and feedback – and time to write! Location: Fern Resort on Lake Couchiching.

Writing Between the Sheets A new course on writing erotica and including sex in your novels, with Suzanne Caskie and Gwynn Scheltema. Location: TBA Durham Region. 6 to 8:30 pm.
