    Hi Heather,

I hope all is well with you…it’s been a long time since we spoken. Luckily I read the local Port Perry from cover to cover today and saw the ad for you upcoming workshop on “Get published and Paid”. They messed it up a little and said the course starts Thursday but had the correct dates elsewhere.

I started my own part time writing career a year and a bit ago and write a column in a national motorsport magazine. I’m interested in the course but not sure where the focus will be. I am thinking of branching out and trying other venues but haven’t made a move. Would you say the course is more for those just starting or would it benefit someone with some experience but by no means a “professional”.

    Thanks,

    David

  • Gwynn:

    Hi David,

So nice to hear from you! It certainly has been a while. I hope you’re doing well.

I’m glad you’re interested in coming to Query to Byline: Get Published and Paid. The course will probably attract a mix of writers: some newcomers and some like yourself, with experience they’d like to build upon. I think you’d find yourself quite at home. Gwynn and I will definitely be covering how to find new markets and expand your writing horizons.

Feel free to give me a call if you’d like more information. I’d be happy to answer any questions.

    Best,

    Heather
